If you’re an avid gamer, then you’ve probably realized that you need a special place to put your desktop computer in your home office. Gaming desks tend to be either expensive or cheap but lack functionality and practicality. Luckily, there are many gaming desks available on the market today that are affordable yet high quality and offer plenty of space, good build quality, and convenient features that any gamer would love to have in their home office, like USB ports, headphone holders and adjustable shelves.
1) Arozzi Arena
The Arozzi Arena gaming desk is a solid choice for gamers looking to keep their budget under $100. The Arena offers users 2 inches of high-density sound and vibration reducing foam, an adjustable CPU holder, as well as cable management holes to keep your desk from getting cluttered. It’s also easy to assemble with its patented spring-clip design that keeps hardware in place during assembly. Our review team found it has plenty of room for two large monitors or three smaller ones and still has enough space for keyboard and mouse. One downside is that some reviewers had trouble setting up their rig because screws didn’t fit correctly into pre-drilled holes but overall its a great value for anyone looking to get into PC gaming without breaking their bank account.
2) IKEA Bekant
One of IKEA’s newer options, and one that we have yet to test out in person, is their Bekant series. Reviews seem mixed—many users complain that it’s difficult to put together, though others say they’re happy with it as a budget option. That said, many feel like there are better options at lower prices—and let’s be honest: The price is pretty much all you have to go off of here.
3) AmazonBasics Low Profile Desk
At 4.5 high, it fits easily under computer monitors. This is a great desk if you're looking for something low-profile and inexpensive. It also comes in black and white finishes. If you're into DIY projects, several people have written tutorials to create your own AmazonBasics desk; search YouTube for AmazonBasics computer table.
4) Omega SV32847 Glass Computer Desk
This modern glass computer desk is a sleek addition to any room. The hidden keyboard tray allows for more space and makes it perfect for even multiple monitors. It’s a great way to set up an office without breaking your budget. $98.88
5) SHW Corner Home Office Desk
The SHW corner desk combines a clean, stylish design with plenty of functional options. While gaming desks don’t need to be particularly big or functional, they do need to offer ample space for both your computer and your peripherals—and a lot of people prefer standing desks. The SHW offers all of that plus plenty of storage space and an ergonomic keyboard platform so you can game in comfort while still being productive. If you’re looking for a full-size desk, one great option is Sauder’s Homeworx corner desk. It also offers plenty of space for work, including an L-shaped keyboard tray which lets you sit back and game without straining your neck or arms.
